Metal Detecting!!!

Metal Detecting is my favorite hobby. Whether it’s land or water, I enjoy being out and finding lost items. Sometimes its not all that easy and it takes a lot of hard work but you’ll find rewards in different ways. If nothing else it can be a good form of exercise.

Minelab Excalibur

The Minelab Excalibur is probably one of the most popular waterproof detectors on the market. It is rated at serious depths and can even be used on land. It takes a long time to learn all the subtle changes in tones that this machine gives but you’ll find that it can be very powerful.

I primarily hunt in the water with my Excalibur. Thus, this site is based off of water detecting and the domain WaterDetecting.com forwards here. But you will find that this not always the case as I started out on land first so Detecting Underground is the universal choice for this blog.
